Charlie Kirk\u2019s accused killer lost his\u00a0bid to force his turncoat trans lover to testify\u00a0next month, a judge ordered Monday.<\/p>\n

Utah Judge Tony Graf denied alleged assassin Tyler Robinson\u2019s request to force Lance Twiggs, 22, to appear in a Provo courtroom for a multi-day hearing next month.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors said they planned to show an April 20 video interview that Twiggs\u00a0had with investigators\u00a0at the July 6 preliminary hearing \u2014 a court procedure which is a substitute for a grand jury indictment after which Graf will determine if there is enough evidence for the case to go to trial.<\/p>\n

Robinson\u2019s lawyers argued that since Twiggs\u2019 interview was going to be shown to the judge, they should have the opportunity to grill him live in the courtroom \u2014 including to ask about his partial immunity agreement for turning on Robinson, who allegedly\u00a0confessed to the killing\u00a0in texts with Twiggs.<\/p>\n

Graf found that Twiggs, who\u00a0lives out of state, didn\u2019t need to be dragged into court for the early-stage hearing meant simply to establish probable cause that Robinson killed the conservative podcaster.<\/p>\n
